1. Hawa Mahal

The structure is a composite of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments that are still being used to measure the harmony of the haven. These stone instruments observe and study orbits around the sun. Jantar Mantar in Jaipur has the world’s biggest stone sundial known as Samrat Yantra that displays the local time at the accuracy of 2 seconds. Jantar Mantar Jaipur is among 5 observatories built by Maharaj Jai Singh II in 1724, a famous astronomer. Jaigarh Fort
Jai Singh (the ruling king) built Jaigarh Fort in 1726 with a strong layout to protect the famous Amer Fort from its enemy states. Spread over a wide area of 3 km, this defensive castle is the world’s largest “cannon on wheel.” The fort was known as the most efficient canon foundry because of its huge iron ore mines present along the surroundings of fort. Jaigarh Fort is structurally similar to Amer Fort, located 500 feet above sea level offers stunning views of surroundings. Both Amber and Jaigarh Fort are connected by an underground pathway that helps people reach safely in event of an attack.6. Nahargarh Fort
Nahargarh Fort offers a spectacular sight-seeing view of the pink city, lying on the peak of Aravalli hills. The Royal Fort is located in the Brahmpuri area of Jaipur. There was a time when the fort was part of a three-point strategy including Amer Fort and Jaigarh Fort. The word Nahargarh means abode of tigers, where the enemy runs backward. Nahargarh Fort was constructed in 1734 during the Jay Singh dynasty, which was extended later in 1868. The walls of this huge fortification are extended to reach Jaigarh Fort that forms a wall of defense around Jaipur. A number of significant events of Indian History have been witnessed by the fort inside its premises. This includes the signing of armistice with the Maratha Armies in the 18th century and the relocating of the Europeans living within the fort’s wall region during the Indian 1857 revolt against British rule.7. Albert Hall Museum

Dal Baati Churma
